Spooky Halloween Recipes that Scream #SquadGhouls

Here at LorAnn we are so into fall and we “Hallow-mean it!” Even though Halloween may look a little different this year without trick-or-treating, we are excited for what the night will hold for you and your little monsters when it comes to creating in the kitchen—costume approved! These easy and tasty treats below cover all the bases for a spooktacular night, but beware, these recipes are frighteningly delicious. Go ahead and scroll, but remember you were warned!

Maple Candy Apples

Trust us, your kitchen will smell like warm, buttery syrup when making these candied apples from Heather Baird of the SprinkeBakes. Once the candy coating dries, hit the apple gently with a small hammer, or other blunt object to create the gothic, glass-shattered look approved by Edgar Allen Poe.

Zombie Macarons

These Zombie Macarons were made by Kim Haines of Crème Macarons using our Green Apple Super Strength. Using the Food Network’s Simple Macaron Recipe, she created her own thrilling spin!

Halloween Gummy Candies

These gummy candies are bat-tastic and are simple to make! Customize them using different molds, flavors, and food colors.

Skeleton Lollipops

With a face like this skeleton, we can’t say it’s bone-chilling, but we like a little cute with our scares too! It is so easy to bring your skelly to life with any flavor using our Super Strength flavors and round lollipop mold.

Pumpkin Toffee

These toffee bars from Eazy Peazy Mealz will be your next disappearing act at your festivities thanks to bold, pumpkin spice flavor and crunchy, roasted pumpkin seeds. Don’t be surprised when the cookie tray goes empty and All Hallows’ Eve has just begun.

Pumpkin Spice Mudslide

It’s no trick, adults can’t enjoy treats on Halloween too! This “BOOzy” cocktail is a delicious mix of classic mudslide ingredients with a pumpkin pie twist.

Witch STILL better have my candy! No magic spell needed, you can make your own candy at home with our assorted Halloween themed candy molds. Shop here!

  6. I just moved to Washington to be near sons and grandkids. We are having a spectacular celebration and I will be making the pumpkin toffee from your blog and other treats the grandkids and I can do together.

      1. Flat tonic water. I made them last year, but I’ll see if I can make them even better this year.

  7. No trick or treating for us. But we’ll be throwing our own little family party, piñata included! Caramel apple bar will be a hit along with mummy dogs and a graveyard of veggies.🎃💀

  8. Will be serving Halloween themed foods from breakfast to bed time healthy snacks from Pumpkin spice muffins to Apple slices dipped in maple flavored apple sauce.

  9. I have three girls (4y, 2y, and 8months), currently we are going to dress up play with the neighbor boy who is 4 and venture to some safe houses. Also we plan to make some sugar free hot cinnamon bears. Any additional flavors would make their day!

  10. Halloween party quarantine style! Our family of four will dress up in our costumes and spend the day cooking and baking ghoulish dishes, enjoying backyard tricks and treats, and watching Halloween shows. It will be a pumpkin smashing good time!

  11. Having a trunk or treat in my backyard for my kids because I want to keep them safe this holiday with the pandemic going on

  12. The kids are looking forward to trick or treating, but that may not be possible with restrictions in place. It may be a special family activity instead.

  13. Trying my hand at macarons for the first time… wish me luck! The Zombie recipe looks great! Will drop off to the neighbors’ houses.

  14. We’re decorating for Halloween this weekend, but on Halloween the adults will be camping at a ren-fest and I expect we’ll be trick or treating tasty adult beverages!

  15. We are going to the town trunk or treat. This year it will be a drive-thru followed by a movie. The kids are excited to watch a movie in the car and driving around to get candy.

  16. We are having a family backyard party with the grandchildren. Serving hot dogs, burgers, chips, and homemade candies made with LorAnn flavorings

  17. Halloween is my favorite 🙂 so we will walk the neighborhood and look at decorations, then make a spooky meal and watch scary movies! Thank you for the giveaway opportunity 🙂

  18. I’m making candy for the kids. They are dressing up & everyone is masking up & going to friends houses to trick or treat. 🎃👻💀😷

  19. This is my busiest time of year!
With all the truck or treat celebrations on hold we’ll be doing our own version with treats in every room of the house and fun activities for our kids at each station.
