Step 1: Choose Your Creamer Base

Everyone has a different idea of the perfect coffee creamer, whether it is rich and sweet, light and silky, or dairy-free and plant-based. Start by choosing the creamer base that fits your taste. We’ve included three easy recipes to help you find your perfect match.

Step 2: Pick (and Perfect) Your Flavor

Once you’ve chosen your coffee creamer base, the flavor fun begins. LorAnn offers three professional flavor lines that work beautifully in coffee creamers, each with its own personality and strength level. With these, you can create custom creamers that are rich, delicious, and perfectly tailored to your taste.

For best results, start with a small amount and increase gradually until you reach your desired taste.

Highly concentrated, these flavors are three to four times stronger than traditional extracts or bakery emulsions. Start with ½ teaspoon in any of the creamer recipes and adjust as desired; a little goes a long way.

Try: Caramel, Cinnamon Roll, Creamy Hazelnut, Irish Cream, Amaretto, Vanilla Butternut, Pralines & Cream

LorAnn® Better Than Extracts™ Bakery Emulsions

Water-based and versatile, these blend smoothly into any creamer base for balanced, consistent flavor.

Try: Almond, Cinnamon Spice, Cookie Butter, Maple, Peppermint, Pumpkin Spice, Caramel

Note: Almond and Peppermint are naturally strong—start with less and adjust to taste.

Flavor Fountain Ice Cream/Beverage Flavors

Formulated for frozen desserts and beverages, these blend smoothly into any liquid or creamer base to deliver a balanced flavor that tastes like a coffee-shop favorite.

Try: Butter Pecan, Cheesecake, Crème de Menthe, Eggnog, Fudge Brownie, German Chocolate Cake, Pumpkin Pie

Step 3: Mix and Enjoy

This is where you can truly personalize your creamer. Mix and match flavors to create your own signature blend, like Pumpkin Spice + Cinnamon Spice for a fall favorite or Caramel + Vanilla Butternut for a twist on a caramel macchiato.

Tips:

  • Homemade creamers naturally separate, so shake before use.
  • Label your creamer by writing the flavor and expiration date on the outside of the container for easy to grab-and-go convenience. All three homemade creamer recipes keep for about 7–10 days in the refrigerator.

LorAnn’s wide variety of flavorings makes it simple to create coffee creamers that are delicious and completely tailored to your taste. Whether you prefer classic comfort or something a little more adventurous, you’ll find endless possibilities in our Super-Strength Flavors, Bakery Emulsions, and Flavor Fountain Flavors—because your coffee should be as creative as you are.

Now choose the base that fits your taste, whether it is Classic, Quick-Mix, or Dairy-Free, and see how easy it is to flavor your coffee your way.
